FreeWRT Initiative The FreeWRT Initiative is an action against some instances of GPL violation by Sveasoft Inc. and its founder James Ewing. Firmware for broadband wireless routers distributed under the names Sveasoft Alchemy, Sveasoft Nirvana, Sveasoft Satori, Sveasoft Samadhi, Sveasoft Freya are works based on the open source and should be kept open and available to the community. All these software is under the GPL, so feel free to distribute it further. The listed firmware is compatible with Linksys WRT54G, Linksys WRT54GS and some other wireless WiFi routers. These firmware is mostly outdated. It is recommended to check other firmware projects for Linksys and other broadband wireless routers, such as DD-WRT, OpenWR, HyperWRT Thibor, or Tomato.
